Taking fresh food to the next level you’ll find your days being surrounded with the finest of Australian produce as you take charge of your team in the service deli/small goods department and customer service area of the store.

Our client is a firm believer in coaching, development and creating a high performing workplace which in turn delivers a positive customer experience.

About Your New Role:

  • Hands on management approach
  • Coach, develop and mentor a team of 6-10
  • Deli cabinet display & merchandising
  • Quality assurance to ensure customer satisfaction
  • Ordering and shrinkage controls
  • Strong focus on OHS .. we love a safe working environment!
  • Team rostering to budgets
  • Work budgets with an understanding of cost control and gross profit
About You:
  • 2 years+ management or 2ic experience in a Service Deli Department
  • Fresh food retail knowledge
  • Strict in your approach to food safety guidelines
  • Ability to work with display guidelines and be creative
  • Logical problem solving abilities
  • Inspirational to lead your team to achieve
  • Passionate about customer experience
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Positive “can do” attitude
