The Client:
Is a well established 'Not for Profit" organisation that has strong lasting links with the community and prides itself on their bright and welcoming stores across Australia. 

The Role:
We are looking for a Store Manager with high attention to detail who will motivate and coach the store team with passion, motivation and professionalism. In return you will have the opportunity of sharing in the rewards and challenges offered by this exciting position. You will help run a Not-For-Profit high turnover business and will continue to drive its success.  the role will be physically demanding and you will be responsible for a cohort of up 80 volunteers.  On a weekend will be the biggest challenge as this is the most profitable day which will involve the bulk of the physical labor. 

Responsibilities include:

  • Manage all day to day retail operational activities
  • Drive sales throughout the team
  • Maintain appropriate stock levels throughout the store and be able to work with a fast paced churn 
  • Provide strong leadership and direction to the team with focus on collaboration and team work
  • Coach and develop your team to exceed customer expectations
  • Manage front and back of the store 
  • Providing daily/weekly/monthly reporting 
  • Responsible for rostering of 80 volunteers
  • Strong leadership skills 
  • Providing exemplary customer service
  • Open and close the store 
  • Building/maintaining strong community relationships 
To be successful you will have:
  • Experience in the 'not for profit' space is advantageous
  • Experience in leading a retail team with a passion for leading by example
  • Strong experience in point of sales, cash and stock management systems as well as financial reporting
  • An ability to demonstrate patience and guidance  
  • A demonstrated ability to work under pressure and think outside the box
  • Experience in managing a large team of 60+ staff
  • A self starter with a 'Can do" attitude
  • A team player mind set
