e-Com | Search & Analytics Manager | NZ based

Reporting to the E-Commerce manager, the Search & Analytics Manager is responsible for analysing, strategising, producing and reporting online marketing strategies. These include but are not limited to SEM, PPC, CPC, SEO and affiliate Marketing. 

What an average day could look like:

  • Work closely with the online content team on promotional planning, brand integrity, the customer experience and optimized ROI
  • Be responsible for analytics, insights and reporting for customer behaviour metrics, including; acquisition, conversion and retention analytics
  • Collating & reporting critical data relating to customer shopping & buying patterns
  • Provide cost effective improvements that would enhance the customer shopping experience
 
Key responsibilities: 
  • Manage all ongoing paid search campaigns
  • Develop long-term paid search strategies, roadmaps and execute day-to-day tactics that increase revenue, site traffic, conversion and margins
  • Research and recommend opportunities within the search-marketing channel
  • Manage the implementation of new search projects, and relationships with third party vendors
  • Implement SEO initiatives and drive key processes and functions on expansion & content optimization
  • SEO tasks: technical site analysis, creative brainstorming, competitor analysis keyword research and mapping and link building
  • Produce and analyse regular reports of search marketing activities while providing recommendations and implementing required change
About you: 
  • Hands on knowledge of best practices in SEM and a proven track-record of delivering qualified traffic 
  • Understanding of SEO best practices, web architecture and basic HTML CSS and code structure as it relates to SEO
  • Experience across the spectrum of digital media channels (SEO, PPC) and or clickstream tools such as Omniture, Webtrends, Google Analytics and other web analytic platforms
  • Expert knowledge and direct experience with managing paid search campaigns directly through Google Adwords and Microsoft AdCenter
  • Strong knowledge in Affiliate and Shopping Comparison strategies
  • Direct campaign management experience of large paid search campaigns
  • Budget management skills with strong focus on Return On Ad Spend
  • SEO experience in Key wording, Title Tags, Customer Feedback Tools and Web Design
  • Strong attention to detail & excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Skilled across the MS Office suite, including advanced skill in Excel, reporting and analysis
  • Knowledge of the online fashion industry would be advantageous
