My client is a highly successful entrepreneur, businessman, media personality and philanthropist. This is a rare opportunity for a high energy, detail orientated EA/PA preferably with some a research or TV/ radio production exposure. You will be exposed to a number of industries from the glamorous world of television and radio, to the inner workings of an international recruitment agency and a number of truly inspirational charitable organizations, no two days will be the same! In this extremely fast paced role, you will be a superstar all-rounder, as confident in a boardroom as you are on the red carpet.
Your role will include but not be limited to the following areas

  • Managing and coordinating an extremely busy and ever changing calendar including frequent interstate and international travel arrangements, accommodation and transfers - You'll need to be good at tetris
  • Effective email management - prioritizing and filtering all incoming mail and communication both professional and personal and have the ability to respond and manage communication at all levels not just shuffle around or forward on 
  • Management of social media channels - twitter, facebook, instragram, personal website (experience here is an absolute must!)
  • Researching and preparing for television and radio segments: current events, celebrity interviews, entertainment gossip
  • Significant Personal Assistant duties - From menial to exciting, one day you could taking the dogs to the vet and the next coordinating a dinner party for the who's who of Australian media 
  • Reconciliation of personal and professional financial statements and preparing company financial reports
We are looking for a UNICORN! This role is not for a desk-jockey, you will be at your happiest getting stuck in and getting your hands dirty and work best in a high pressure environment where priorities can change from one minute to the next!
To be considered for this role, we want to see the following key skills and experience
  • Experience as an EA/PA for a personality or entrepreneur. While our client has a number of business interests and commitments, this is no corporate role!
  • Efficient, resourceful, able to think on your feet and think fast! Your job is to make our clients life easier - filter the unnecessary and act as a gatekeeper when needed
  • High level of computer literacy across Excel, Word and Microsoft and Mac programs coupled with social media savviness               
  • Excellent communication skills and high attention to detail
  • Attitude : Fun, outgoing, engaging, humble
  • Production experience  in TV or radio would be highly advantageous  
  • Strong project management skills 
  • Ability to prepare and understand complex reports and papers
